mary hoehne - executive director
Mary Hoehne is the Executive Director of the Granville Business Improvement District in Milwaukee, WI. After a career in purchasing, marketing, and sales within the manufacturing arena, Ms. Hoehne decided to utilize her skills and work in the nonprofit sector. After completing degrees in Marketing and Mass Communications, she completed her Masters Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Nonprofit Management and Leadership and is now pursuing a Ph. D. in Public Administration/Nonprofit Management and Leadership, from Walden University. Her research topic addresses the role of BIDs in facilitating reinvestment and revitalization in the neighborhood community. Her other major passions are dogs, baseball, and Zumba. karen riendeau - assistant Director
Karen Riendeau started at the Granville Business Improvement District in February of 2015. Her work background was in office administration before joining the BID. She developed a passion for non-profit work while volunteering her time as PR/Marketing Coordinator for the Brewcity Bruisers Milwaukee Rollergirls league. Her work for the league lead her to seek a job in the non-profit sector which would help the broader community.
